More pictures from TundraCon 2015

I found another batch of pictures that I hadn't uploaded in my previous post.  They included some games that weren't part of yesterday's set.  So enjoy some more views from the front lines.

TundraCon was a great success.

Thank you to all who attended TundraCon 2015.  It was a great day of gaming, and we all were very pleased with the way things went.  We had about 50 attendees and our GMs put on some really fantastic games.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.  We also need to thank our various sponsors and contributors who included, Battlefront, Adventure Games, Toll Works, The Last Square, CinC, GHQ, The BattleBadgers and Rick GearHeart, and Frying Pan and Blanket, all of whom were kind enough to donate prize support for various games or for door prizes.  And now, the pictures.

Greetings from the Frozen Tundra.

Welcome to TundraCon.  The purpose of this blog is to serve as an informative space for Northeast Wisconsin's newest miniature wargaming convention, TundraCon.  We'll start with the particulars.

What is TundraCon?

TundraCon is a one day convention for miniature wargaming of all types.  Gamers interested in running historical, fantasy, or science fiction games are all welcome.  In addition to an interesting array of games to play, tables will be made available for a flea market.

Where is TundraCon?

TundraCon will be held at the American Legion Hall at 3220 W College Ave in Appleton Wisconsin.

When is TundraCon?

TundraCon will be held on Saturday January 10, 2015 from 9AM to 11PM.  Admission is $10 at the door.

Who is running TundraCon?

The convention began with one of those post game chats in my basement.  We don't have an official club name or organization.  We're just a group of geographically local gamers who have been getting together for the last three years most weekends. Five of us thought that it would be nice to get together on a weekend in a large venue, with as many fellow enthusiasts as we could to run some really nice looking games.  My name is Dan Wideman.  You can see some of the games we've had at my blog GoinGaming.blogspot.com.  Also please check out Michael's blog, campaignsinminiature.blogspot.com for lots of eye candy.

What games will be run?

Currently we have commitments for games of Flames of War, War of 1812, WW2 Naval, American Civil War, and A Call to Arms Star Trek.  We hope to add to this list.  If you are interested in running a game contact us at tundracon15@gmail.com

Follow the blog for updates as more details become available.
